Dr. Bridgett Casadaban was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where she grew up playing golf which brought her to Mercer University where she played Women’s Golf and ultimately received a B.S. in Biology. She returned to Wisconsin to receive her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to complete an OB/GYN residency at the University of Virginia. She is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Casadaban looks forward to establishing lifelong relationships with her patients while providing excellent gynecologic care throughout all stages of a women’s life. She strongly believes in educating and working together with her patients to make personalized health care decisions.
Dr. Casadaban strives to provide compassionate and well-informed gynecologic care to women of all ages. She has a special interest in the evaluation and management of:
- Perimenopausal hormonal changes
- Absent or irregular periods
- Painful periods
- Heavy periods
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
- HPV and abnormal pap smears
- Post-menopausal bleeding
- Pain with intercourse
She has expertise in hysteroscopy which Healthcare for Women Hormone Menopause Resource Center is proud to offer in-office or can be performed in the operating room as deemed appropriate.
In addition, she also provides routine well-women exams, testing for sexually transmitted infections, contraceptive management, screening for cervical cancer, screening for breast cancer, screening for colon cancer, hereditary cancer screening, and osteoporosis screening and treatment.
Dr. Casadaban is a compassionate and well-respected physician who provides the best care to her patients. She cares for each patient how she wants to be treated as a patient.
